Getting there and around. Episkopeio lies about 17 to 19 kilometers southwest of Nicosia, at roughly 335 to 350 meters elevation. It is reached by road through the neighbouring villages of Politiko and Pera Oreinis, near the ancient site of Tamassos.Source ↗
Good to know. Episkopeio is home to the Church of the Apostle Andrew and All Russian Saints, the first and only Russian Orthodox church in Cyprus built with gilded domes. Completed in 2016, its five domes were made in Saint Petersburg and the central dome alone weighs seven tons.Source ↗
