Getting there and around. OSEA operates all public bus routes within the Famagusta district (the government-controlled part around Ayia Napa, Paralimni and Protaras) and runs direct services to and from Larnaca, including route 711 (Paralimni, Kapparis, Protaras, Konnos, Ayia Napa to Larnaka and the New Larnaca Hospital) and routes 712 and 714 via the inland villages. By car the area is reached from Larnaca via the A3 motorway, roughly 55 to 60 km and 40 to 50 minutes.Source ↗
Nearby. Famagusta District is one of Cyprus's six districts; only its southern part (around Ayia Napa, Paralimni and Protaras) is under Republic of Cyprus control, since most of the district including Famagusta city itself lies in the Turkish-controlled north. On the free-area side it borders Larnaca District to the west and Nicosia District to the north.Source ↗
Parking. Ayia Napa town centre has a mix of free and paid parking: some central spots and the large Nissi Beach and Makronissos Beach car parks are free most of the year, while municipal pay-and-display lots (recognisable by a PAY HERE meter) charge from about 2 euros for up to two hours in the busy centre. Paid lots are typically free overnight and on Sundays, and peak summer sees the tightest competition for spaces near the beaches.Source ↗

Through the year. Summer brings the district's full resort identity: beach bars, clubs and water sports along the Ayia Napa strip run at full tilt. In winter most of that nightlife and the beach-bar scene shuts down, leaving supermarkets, pharmacies and a core of year-round tavernas open, with the empty beaches and Cape Greco trails drawing walkers and long-stay northern Europeans instead.Source ↗
