Getting there and around. Pissouri sits about 30 km west of Limassol centre, roughly midway between Limassol and Paphos. The EMEL route 70 bus links Pissouri to Limassol (about 60 minutes, five weekday departures), while route 630 runs to Paphos (about 50 minutes) via Petra tou Romiou. Bus services are limited, so most visitors drive.Source ↗
Good to know. Pissouri is really two places: a hillside village about 3 km inland, and Pissouri Bay down on the coast, linked by a local shuttle bus. The permanent population is only around 1,100 people, roughly half of them British expatriates rather than Cypriots.Source ↗
Nearby. Pissouri lies within Limassol district, close to the boundary with Paphos district, on the coast between the two cities. Its immediate rural neighbours include Avdimou to the east and Alectora and Platanisteia inland.Source ↗
Parking. Pissouri Bay has a free public car park a short walk from the beach, fine for weekday traffic but known to fill up on summer weekends. In the old hillside village the streets are narrow and winding, so the local advice is to park near the village square and explore on foot rather than drive through.

Through the year. Pissouri Bay is busy with tourists through the summer, when its free car park can fill by around 11am on weekends, but there is usually a quiet spot on the beach even in peak season. Outside the June to September window the bay and village are markedly quieter.Source ↗
Signature events. Pissouri's cultural calendar includes the Nostos Pissouriou festival of folk and traditional dance each August, and the PISSOURIA Cypriot wine exhibition, run with the Cyprus Sommelier Association, each June. A village grape-harvest festival tied to the local wine tradition also takes place in late August or early September.Source ↗
Paphos International Airport, roughly 20-30 km away, is far closer than Larnaca, where a taxi transfer covers about 110 km and takes around 70 minutes.
Yes, but service is limited: EMEL route 70 runs a handful of weekday trips to Limassol and route 630 connects to Paphos.
