About Apostolos Andreas Church
Apostolos Andreas Church stands at the centre of Pissouri village, near the main square. Villagers built it through voluntary labour between 1883 and around 1895, on ground used as a cemetery until 1912. Built in Gothic form, the church is known for its hand-carved wooden iconostasis, completed in 1890, along with frescoes and icons inside.
