Getting there and around. Kyperounta has no direct bus link to Limassol city. It sits on the mountain road through Saittas, and its rural bus network runs from the Kyperounta Hospital stop via routes 60H (to Pelendri and Potamitissa), 62H (to Amiantos and Saittas) and 85 (to Kakopetria via Chandria).Source ↗

Good to know. Despite being just one mountain village, Kyperounta produces roughly a third of Cyprus's entire national apple and pear harvest, an output large enough to support its own annual Apple Festival.Source ↗
