Good to know. Mouttagiaka was a Turkish Cypriot village until 1974, when its residents left for the north and Greek Cypriot refugees resettled it across ten self-build housing estates, an eleventh added later; the population grew from 283 people in 1976 to over 3,200 by 2021.Source ↗

Through the year. In summer the coastal strip fills with swimmers at the small Beach Miami beachfront and visitors to two nearby water parks, alongside restaurants, grill houses and nightclubs. Outside summer the area reverts to a quieter residential village, with the seafront amenities largely built for the tourist season.
