Getting there and around. Germasogeia sits on the eastern edge of Limassol and is reached from the city centre by EMEL bus route 13, which runs from Leontiou station to Patron in Germasogeia via Vasileos Georgiou A and the Germasogeia roundabout. The area is also directly on the Limassol tourist-area coast road, so it is a short drive east from the old town.Source ↗

Signature events. The Municipality of Amathounta (which covers Germasogeia/Yermasoyia) holds an annual Flower Festival at the Germasogeia dam area in early May, a two-day outdoor event with flower displays, music and family activities. In summer the municipality also runs a program of open-air theatre, music evenings and a Beer Festival.Source ↗
