About Panagias Criseleousis
Panagia Chryseleousa is the main church of Lysos village in the Paphos hills, built in the late 15th or early 16th century in a Franco-Byzantine style that mixes a Byzantine dome with Gothic arches. Its two doorways carry carved Frankish coats of arms. Inside, an old Byzantine fresco in a side niche of the sanctuary depicts the Panagia Kykkotissa.
