About White River Beach
White River Beach lies on the southern edge of the Akamas peninsula in Peyia, just before the road drops into Avakas Gorge. The shore mixes sand, pebbles and rock, so sturdy shoes help, and the clear water can turn rough with waves and submerged stones. Visitors have built the beach's best-known feature themselves: towers of balanced pebbles and stacked stones dotted along the shoreline. There are no facilities, and the nearby Sea Caves make a natural add-on for the same trip.
