About Agiou Georgiou Pegeias
Agios Georgios Peyias Fishing Shelter has served the local fishing community since 1981, with an expansion in 2007, and now holds about 20 vessels. It sits at Pegeia near the entrance to the Akamas peninsula, close to the Agios Georgios archaeological site where excavations since the 1950s uncovered Early Christian basilicas and a bath.
