About Troodos Observatory
Troodos Observatory sits at 1,250 metres near Agridia, between the villages of Agros and Kyperounta, its mirrored panels and sliding-roof dome designed to blend into the mountainside. At its centre is a 20-inch (50cm) reflecting telescope, the largest on the island, used for both day and night sessions. Visitors can also step onto the Astromarina viewing platform for panoramic mountain views, see a meteorite from Argentina, and watch a film in the on-site Cosmotheatre.
