About The Necropolis at Meletis Forest
The Necropolis at Meletis Forest lies beside the road to Lara Beach in Peyia, Paphos district. Eleven monumental tombs are carved into the solid rock underground, dating mainly from the Hellenistic and Roman periods and remaining in use into the Early Byzantine era. They served a nearby settlement that has never been located. There is no entry fee; visitors park at the roadside and walk a short distance to the tombs.
