About Church of Saint Panteleimonos
The Church of Saint Panteleimon in Kakopetria was built between 1989 and 1994, funded and organised by the village's own residents. It follows a Byzantine plan with a central dome and seats around 700 worshippers. The exterior is currently plastered and whitewashed, with local stone facing still planned. The parish keeps the feast of Saint Panteleimon, the healing great martyr, each July.
