About Agia Tillyria Nature Trail
The trail starts near Kato Pyrgos on the road toward Pigenia village, in the remote northwest of the island. It follows a gravel road past the ruins of Agios Theodoros, an abandoned village reclaimed by nature, crosses a wooden bridge, and continues through pine-covered gorges with views down to the Mediterranean. The one-way route runs about 8 kilometres; walking back by road instead of retracing your steps makes a loop of roughly 8.3 kilometres, taking 3 to 4 hours.
