Catch the exciting Marios Toumbas Trio for the first time in Limassol!
The Cyprus based “Marios Toumbas Trio” is the result of an exciting collaboration between Berklee graduates and long time friends, pianist Marios Toumbas, double bassist Irenaeos Koulouras and drummer Ioannis Vafeas. Led by distinguished pianist Toumbas, the group performs arrangements from the Post-bop era, as well as compositions by great jazz composers such as Clifford Brown, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea and Joey Calderazzo. Some original music by Toumbas is also included in their repertoire. The Trio has recently performed at the “Near & Far International Festival” at Kastellorizo Greece, getting positive reviews by ERT journalists and being featured at ERT Cosmos Tv and ERA Radio, the national Tv and radio channels of Greece.
