Dough Festival was a Festival event at Courtyard Church of Archangelos Michael on Saturday, 25 July 2026 at 00:00. Admission was free.
The event will focus on dough, and everything related to it. Dough-based delicacies such as *koulouria* (traditional rings), breads, and more will be prepared, and visitors will be able to taste all the finished products. The teams will be organized as follows: Group 1 will prepare the dough; Group 2 will make *lokmades* (fried dough puffs); Group 3 will prepare traditional pies; and Group 4 will make *daktyla kyrion* (“Ladies’ Fingers” pastries). The teams will be set up to encourage public participation, allowing anyone interested to join in the preparation process and learn how to make these delicacies. All stages of production will take place on-site, starting from scratch beginning with the kneading of the dough. The ultimate goal of the Festival is for the public to watch, participate, and more broadly grasp everything there is to know about the preparation of traditional dough-based products.

Cyprus
Kyperounta is a mountain village in the Troodos range, within the Limassol district, and one of the highest villages in Cyprus. Its cool climate supports vineyards, apple and cherry orchards, and a local winery. Village events tend to follow the harvest seasons and traditional festivals.
