About Xyliatos Dam Loop Trail
This roughly four kilometre loop circles the reservoir at Xyliatos Dam, in the Adelfoi Forest in the hills of the Nicosia district. It starts near the parking area north of the dam, follows the water's edge around the artificial lake, and passes the dam's picnic site on the way back to the start. The walk takes about one and a half to two hours and is rated moderate, with a modest elevation gain along the way.
