About Wine Museum in Kathikas
Sterna Winery and its wine museum sit in Kathikas, a village nearly 700 metres up in the Paphos wine country. The winery takes its name from the old wells (sternes) villagers once used to collect water, and its buildings stand above natural springs and a set of 31 caves, some reportedly over 3,000 years old. One cave now serves as the wine cellar, kept naturally cool and dark for ageing. The winery produces several labels, including Koralli and Kelaidonis, and is open daily for tastings.
