About Small Makronisos Beach
Makronisos Beach lies about five kilometres west of central Ayia Napa and is made up of several coves divided by low rock outcrops and dunes. This is one of the smaller, quieter stretches of that shoreline, with the same golden sand and shallow water, close to the Hellenistic and Roman rock-cut tombs at Makronisos. It sits within easy reach of the wider beach's cafes and sunbed rental, without the crowds of the main strand.
