About Cyprus Railways Museum
The Cyprus Railways Museum occupies the restored former Evrychou station, once the western terminus of the Cyprus Government Railway in the Solea Valley. The railway ran from 1905 to 1951, linking Famagusta on the east coast through Nicosia to Evrychou in the Troodos foothills over 122 kilometres of track. Opened in September 2016, the museum spreads across two floors of the old station, with artefacts, photographs and models covering the line's history and operation.
