About Genesis Aphrodite's Trail
Genesis Aphrodite's Trail loops roughly ten and a half kilometres from Pissouri Pine Bay, marked with red dots painted on the rock. The first stretch is easy walking suited to families; the second turns steep and rocky as the path traces the mountain edge above the Mediterranean, ending at a pebble shore known locally as Dogs Beach. Open year-round, though best avoided after heavy rain, with grazing sheep, goats and horses a common sight along the way.
