Kambos Mountain Race is one of the most authentic and demanding mountain races in Cyprus, taking place in the mountainous area of Kambos tis Tsakistras, in the heart of the Paphos forest. The race combines technical trails, significant elevation gain and outstanding natural scenery, offering a true skyrunning experience.
For 2027, the event expands with the introduction of a new 33km skyrunning race, elevating the competition level and strengthening its international potential. The established distances remain:
22km, 11km and a ~5-6km trekking route, catering to both experienced athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
The course features technical sections, challenging climbs and spectacular ridgelines, offering breathtaking views and a demanding racing experience. The event is part of the Cyprus Skyrunning National Championship, contributing to the development of the sport in Cyprus.
Kambos Mountain Race is also known for the warm hospitality of the local community, the high-quality organisation and the unique atmosphere within the Troodos mountain landscape.
