About this event
The carob harvest season starts in September and locals cannot but celebrate this special product, also known as the “Black Gold of Cyprus”. Carob trees have been growing on the island since the Neolithic era (7000-3000BC). Carobs and their numerous by-products are found in abundance on the island, Venue: Courtyard of Agios Georgios Pegeias church.
