About Visitors Centre of the Athalassa National Forest Park

The visitor centre for Athalassa National Forest Park sits on the edge of Agios Georgios Park in Aglantzia, on Nicosia's southeastern edge. Run by the Department of Forests and open since May 2004, it has a reception with a small shop, an exhibition gallery and a small cinema showing films about the 840-hectare park's woodland, wetlands and wildlife. It's open weekday mornings and early afternoons, closed weekends and public holidays, with a nominal entrance fee.
