About Stavrovouni Nature Trail
Starting at Stavrovouni Monastery, this trail winds 1.5 kilometres through the Stavrovouni Forest on the eastern edge of the Troodos range, taking about 40 minutes to walk. It opens onto views west toward Larnaca town and the surrounding hills. The forest sits at the boundary of the Nicosia, Larnaca and Ammochostos forestry districts, and its trails are maintained by the Forestry Department alongside firebreaks and fire-watch work.
