About Parko Athienou
The park occupies land donated in 1914 by Constantinos Lytras to the Athienou school board, for use as a school garden. The municipality took over the site in 1986 and developed it into a public park. It now has paved walkways, a children's play area with safety flooring, birdhouses, and a stage used for local events, making it the village's main green space.
