About Panagia tou Sinti Monastery
Panagia tou Sinti Monastery stands in the Paphos hills near Kelokedara village, its single-aisled church and octagonal dome dating to the first half of the 16th century. Monks lived here until 1927, after which the buildings fell into ruin around a courtyard well that once supplied their water. A careful restoration in the late 1990s won a Europa Nostra award, and the monastery is now open to visitors year-round, free of charge.
