About Kourion Beach
Kourion Beach runs about a kilometre along Episkopi Bay, directly below the archaeological site of ancient Kourion on the bluffs above. Its Blue Flag waters and wide sand-and-pebble shore draw swimmers and windsurfers through the season, with lifeguards on duty from April to October and a run of fish taverns along the shorefront. It is the closest beach to Kourion's ruins and amphitheatre, an easy stop after a morning among the mosaics.
