About Kalamies Beach
Kalamies Beach lies on the coast at Pernera, between the Golden Coast Harbour and the built-up centre of Protaras. Its sand stretches from the small whitewashed chapel of Agios Nikolaos, with its blue-trimmed dome, at one end to a beachfront restaurant at the other. The water is clear and shallow enough for family swimming, and the beach is smaller and quieter than the main Protaras strip, with parking close by.
