About Governor's Beach
Governor's Beach lies on the coast between Limassol and Larnaca, its dark volcanic sand set against pale chalk and limestone cliffs known locally as the White Rocks. The colour contrast and shallow, gradually deepening seabed keep the water noticeably warmer than at nearby beaches. Blue Flag certified along its roughly 2km shoreline, it carries sunbeds, cafes, tavernas and free parking, and stays quieter than Limassol's central beachfront even at the height of summer.
