About Agios Georgios Teratsiotis Church
About two kilometres west of Avgorou, on the way toward Achna, stands the 16th-century church of Agios Georgios Teratsiotis. It is a single-aisle stone building with Gothic influences and a many-sided dome, with a wall painting of Saint George facing the entrance and mostly-damaged interior frescoes. The surrounding land holds a Cypro-Archaic necropolis dated to roughly 750 to 600 BC.
