About
The Cyprus Planetarium is the island's first planetarium and the largest observatory in the eastern Mediterranean, opened in 2023 at Episkopeio, southwest of Nicosia. It centres on an 18-metre dome hall with 176 seats, alongside a 360-degree VR room, exhibition zones, a conference centre and an astronomical observatory under a robotic dome housing Cyprus's most powerful telescope. Built as a non-commercial educational project, it hosts science shows and events, among them astrophotography evenings under its skies.
