About
Kyperounta is the largest mountain village in Cyprus, set at around 1,200 metres in the Troodos range on the northern edge of the Limassol district. Its open-air amphitheatre is the village's summer stage, hosting community and cultural events through the warm months, among them the long-running Andreas Nearchou children's festival and memorial evenings. The high-altitude setting and cool mountain nights are part of the appeal, drawing residents and summer visitors up for open-air performances.
