About
This is the open-air amphitheatre in the grounds of the School for the Blind in Nicosia, the large stone stage better known by its full name, the Makarios III Amphitheatre. Built in the 1950s, it is reckoned the oldest modern amphitheatre in Cyprus and one of the capital's main summer venues for theatre and concerts. It is managed by the Cyprus Theatre Organisation, and hosts touring productions, including the political comedy staged here.
