7th Simou Agrofest

The 7th Simou Agrofest invites visitors to discover the traditions, flavours and rural life of Cyprus through a full day of music, hands-on activities and family entertainment in the heart of Simou village.
The programme includes experiential workshops featuring the traditional preparation of trachanas and palouze , kneading and baking, sausage-making, as well as traditional grinding and threshing. Visitors can also enjoy farm animals, horse riding, train rides and special activities for children .
Traditional Cypriot dances will be presented by the dance group “Sta Chnarka tis Paradosis” (In the Footsteps of Tradition) .
The festival’s musical programme features Stefanos Pelekanis with his five-piece band and Chryso Lefou , while Zenith 96.4 FM will broadcast live from the event with Rikkos and Frederiki.
