About Panagia Faneromani
Panagia Faneromeni is the parish church of Platres in the Troodos hills. The village's first chapel of this name stood between Platres and Kato Platres; a newer church replaced it closer to Platres in 1880. That building was in turn demolished for a larger one, funded by the benefactor Frixos I. Dimitriou and inaugurated in 1973, which still serves the village today.
