About
This entry stands for the Troodos mountains, the pine-covered range at the centre of Cyprus that rises to Mount Olympus at 1,952 metres, the island's highest point. It is a region rather than a single venue, and events tied to it here are outdoor endurance occasions that use the mountains as their route or finish, such as a sea-to-summit triathlon climbing from the coast to the peak. The mountains are the course, not a fixed stage.
