Konstantia is one of Nicosia's old open-air summer cinemas, on Solonos Michailidi street, and among the last of its kind still running in the city. Films play through the summer under the night sky, in the format Cypriots grew up with: rows of chairs in a walled yard, a single large screen, an interval halfway through. The season centres on the Summer Movie Marathon, a weekly run of screenings tied to the Theatro ENA company, with a five-euro ticket, a fifty-five-euro season pass, and free entry for people with disabilities. It has kept the tradition going for more than two decades.
