About
Prodromos Reservoir is a small dam and reservoir set among pines near Prodromos, the highest village in Cyprus, at around 1,600 metres in the Troodos. Built in the early 1960s, it is a quiet high-altitude spot known for its cool air and dark, clear skies, and in the coldest winters its surface can freeze. That clear mountain sky makes it a natural draw for events like night photography of the Perseid meteor shower, held here in August.
