About
This is the square of old Engomi, historically a village and now a western district of greater Nicosia. Like other neighbourhood squares across the capital, it serves each summer as one of the open-air stages for the municipality's Summer Nights (Nychtes Kalokairiou), a free June-to-September programme that moves music, theatre and culture out into the districts. The rest of the year it is simply the local square.
