About
The Municipal Garden of Nicosia is the city's central public garden, laid out near the old-town moat as a green space of paths, trees and lawns. It doubles as an events ground for the municipality: it hosts the Antama Festival, a two-day celebration of Cypriot traditional music, craft, dance and theatre held in late September as part of the city's cultural programme. The rest of the year it stays what it is, a park in the middle of the capital.
