About
MMAD Beach is a small Blue Flag beach north of Protaras, in the Kapparis area of the Famagusta district, also known as Asprokremmos for the white limestone cliffs at each end. Sheltered by rocks and caves with a sandy shore, clear water, sunbeds and a lifeguard, it takes its odd name from the nearby police and fire brigade buildings. Popular with locals, its shore also hosts summer events such as a community beach run.
