This is the community sports stadium of Maroni, a village near the coast in the Larnaca district. It is a village ground rather than a branded venue, and like many such grounds across Cyprus its open field and stands take on the village's big summer occasions, including the long-running Maroni Dance Evening, a night of live Greek music and dancing now in its 27th year.
