About
The Lakatamia Municipal Amphitheatre is the open-air civic stage of Lakatamia, a large suburb on the southwestern side of Nicosia. Inaugurated in 1994 as the municipality's first major project, it seats around 2,000 and works mainly as a summer cultural centre, with a municipal gallery built beneath it. On the Cyprus Now calendar it hosts community and sporting occasions as well as concerts, including a charity run through the town.
