About
Kornos is a village about 27 km from Larnaca city, known as the village of the red clay for a pottery tradition worked by hand on a foot powered wheel. The craft is recognised on Cyprus's UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage, and the village holds an annual pottery festival with hands on workshops for visitors.
