About
Koilani is one of the old wine villages of the Limassol hills, high in the Krasochoria at around 820 metres, about 36 km northwest of the city. It keeps a Wine Museum and a church museum in its traditional houses, has working wineries nearby, and its chapel of Agia Mavri sits under one of the largest plane trees on the island. The village comes alive for the autumn grape festival, when the harvest traditions are celebrated.
