About
Governor's Beach is a stretch of dark-sand coast under white chalk and limestone cliffs, on the south of the island roughly midway between Limassol and Larnaca, near Pentakomo. The bright cliffs, known locally as the White Rocks, break the two-kilometre shore into a run of smaller coves, and the clear, calm water makes it a well-known spot for swimming and snorkelling. It draws a summer beach crowd and hosts the occasional open-air event, such as moonlit sea-kayaking nights.
