About
This is the village square of Analyontas, a small village on the edge of the Nicosia district. Its yearly highlight, and the reason it appears here, is the Olive Tree Festival, a celebration of the olive that grows in abundance around the village, with a walk through the olive groves as part of the day. Like squares across the countryside, it is the everyday village centre the rest of the year.
