World Apnea Championships 2026 is a Culture event at Limassol on Tuesday, 29 September 2026 from 09:00 to 14:00. Admission is free.
The 37th AIDA World Championships will bring the world’s top freedivers to Limassol for two weeks of elite international competition.
Returning to Cyprus for the fifth time, the championships showcase Limassol as a leading freediving destination, with its clear waters, excellent visibility and warm, calm sea conditions providing an ideal setting for deep diving.
Top athletes from around the world are expected to compete, offering spectators a unique opportunity to experience world-class freediving and potentially record-breaking performances against the beautiful coastal backdrop of Cyprus.
