The Cyprus-based Marios Toumbas Trio is the result of an exciting collaboration between Berklee graduates and long time friends, pianist Marios Toumbas, double bassist Irenaeos Koullouras and drummer Ioannis Vafeas.

Led by distinguished pianist Toumbas, the group performs arrangements from the Post-bop era, as well as compositions by great jazz composers such as Clifford Brown, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea and Joey Calderazzo.

Some original music by Toumbas is also included in their repertoire.
